Chile!

Are we watching the new season of No Reservations or what ????? I just got caught up today with the Chile episode. I did not need a lot of convincing that this is a country I MUST visit at some point. Actually I was pretty sold when he enjoyed his first meal of Pork sandwich slathered with avocado and mayo. Que delicioso. Of particular interest to me was the moment Tony discusses finally coming around to wine these days. When we saw him earlier this year he told us ( and everyone else at the mcCallum to be fair ) that he just doesn't really give two hoots about wine. When it comes to food, and well - life I suppose, I usually find him to be dead on with his observations and musings but that's pretty much where we had to part ways philosophically. So I was kind of delighted to hear him talk about starting to appreciate wine, which, in my opinion, makes food shine far beyond the limits of beer or liquor.

Tonight at 10 is the new Australia episode, which I am very excited about. I would probably sell my soul to have this man's job. Ok, definitely, I would sell it, I would sell it like a hot stereo=)
