This was a "Babs" creation - Rum Cake with Coconut Ice Cream and Fresh Pineapple. The chocolate was just gratuitous.
The last of our amazing Summer tomtatoes went into this dish that we paired up with the Benovia Pinot - stunning! The topping is made from cold Seared Scallops and Fresh Goat Cheese - with a nice Pesto Oil.
SOO Julie & I forgot that when you add the sauce to the plate first, the cut Summer Rolls don't like to stand up - so we spent 5 minutes chasing falling summer rolls around the plates. Won't make that mistake again=) Too funny - you can see the black sesame seeds in the background. If you understand my black sesame seed fetish , it's funny.
LOVE love this soup - we made it a bunch in the past few weeks. Sweet Peas pureed with shallots and veg stock, finished with Olive Oil and Creme Fraiche. YUM
