What's Your Passion??

We did an interview this weekend with CBS about the phenomenon taking place throughout the country - people inspired by the movie Julie & Julia to go out and take cooking classes.

It made me think about how incredible it is that we have the opportunity to help people find their passion, even later in life for some. I feel so blessed to have realized what I wanted to do at such a young age. But sometimes life gets in the way and you may not get the chance to do what you love until your late thirties - like Julia Child - or even your fifties and sixties - like a lot of people I talk to at the school.

Either way, it's never too late to fulfill the dream of learning to cook like a pro - and life is too short to waste time NOT doing what you love =)

  1. Good point Andie! Thanks for the interview, and for offering classes, so people can learn and experiment. In Julia Child's fabulous memoir, "My Life in France," she gives her "invariable" advice: "Learn how to cook. Try new recipes, learn from your mistakes, be fearless, and above all, have fun!"
